Each day, 8 battles are conducted to determine Caesar and Senators for the day. Each region consists of two daily battles.
The first battle starts at 12 am EST. Each battle is 3 hours long.
Each region has 30 land cards that are distributed throughout the day. Land Cards are valued 1-30 points, with 30 being the highest valued card and 1 valued lowest (there is one card for each point value).
In each of the two battles per region, 15 land cards for each region are dealt. Odd number cards come in the first battles of the day for each region (Battles 1-4) and even numbers in the second battles for each region (Battle 5-8).
Players must strategize which cards to allocate troops towards and decide whether or not to fight for the cards shown or to save troops for the battles later in the day.
To win a piece of land (i.e. a card), you must have the highest amount of troops placed on that land at the end of the 3-hour battle period. The total points on the cards won will be added at the conclusion of the battle day to determine that day’s Caesar and Senators!
